Spring Newsletter

Thankfully Spring time is here & the weather is getting warmer, the past few months we have focused on educating the team with cutting, colouring & product knowledge workshops in the salon with guest artists from Paul Mitchell & Sweet Squared. The team focused on cutting, colour placement and trying styling products that they wouldn’t normally use, this has helped give confidence to try new techniques and products giving you a wider choice for your home care solutions. Karen & Sarah spent a day with Kin  Connect listening to inspiring speakers gaining inspiration & ideas how to take the industry into the future.

We held our first event at the end of March and collaborated with other local independent businesses - Rachel from Tropic Skincare, Michelle from Massage Therapies & Diane from Colour Complements, our team were on hand to talk through haircare regimes at home and recommend products to use. It was an informal evening & gave everyone a chance to interact & chat to each other. 

We would like to congratulate Sofia on becoming a Kleek Ambassador for 2026, she will be part of a group of apprentices across England sharing their journey inspiring future apprentices what it takes to become a hairdresser. 

Savannah & Sofia have both recently signed up to Level 3 in Hairdressing to continue their professional development. 

Harvie has been working with young people in the Future Professional Club, working on head blocks teaching them shampooing, conditioning & blowdrying skills as well as product knowledge giving a brief view of hairdressing as a career choice.     

Lisa is on her countdown to retirement which comes in June 2027, she will have been at the reception meeting & greeting our salon guests for 25 years later this year! 

Georgia will be celebrating 10 years at Keith Graham in May she is an experienced member of the team who likes to be creative with her salon guests, she’s mum to Kobi who will be 2 this summer, hence currently working part time in the salon.

Paul Mitchell have introduced some new products to the Classic Collection, easy to use 15 in 1 Spray & 15 in 1 Treatment Mask both great for adding shine, reducing breakage, heat protection & colour safe too. Other brands we work alongside for take home include GHD with styling irons and styling products, Goldwell Elumen shampoo & conditioner and Control shampoo & conditioner which is perfect to maintain the Kerasilk Smoothing Treatment which is a great in salon service to smooth frizzy hair.

Broadstairs Business Club 10th Anniversary was held at the Pavilion in Broadstairs, which Karen attended, guest speakers included The Mayor of Broadstairs, Sir Roger Gale, STAK.life & the chairman the Business Club, a great morning of local businesses coming together.
